Launchloft (“we”, “us”) provides Kickstarter pre-launch services for indie creators. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: [email protected].
1. Information we collect
- Application data you submit via our form: email, project name and description, category, funding goal, and any notes.
- Deposit / payment: handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full card details.
- Technical data: basic server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp) used for security and abuse prevention.
We don’t require accounts and don’t knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data.
2. How we use it
- To receive, evaluate, and respond to your application.
- To deliver the service you engage us for and communicate with you.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (when you submit the form) and on performance of a contract (delivering the service).
4. Sharing & service providers
We use third parties to operate the service, who process data on our behalf: email delivery, email-marketing tools (e.g. ConvertKit / Mailchimp, if you opt in), a payment processor, and hosting. We don’t sell or rent personal data.
5. Cookies & analytics
The site uses minimal cookies and loads web fonts (Google Fonts). If we add analytics in the future, we’ll update this policy.
6. Data retention
We keep application data as long as needed to evaluate and deliver the service, plus a reasonable period for our records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
7. Your rights

8. International transfers
We’re a small team and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect it in transit and at rest.

Our services are not directed to anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
